2012 FWT Terms and Conditions of Registration and Payment

MINORS

Any minor age driver must have a proof-of-age on file with Formula Kart. All registration requests of drivers who do not have a proof-of-age on file with Formula Kart require a fax or email of the drivers birth certificate or proof-of-age before the Registration Confirmation will be provided. It is important that the email or fax identify the name, age and class of the driver who is registering.

During Formula Kart Productions events it is mandatory that the parent of any minor that requires access to any restricted area must complete and sign the “Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement” at the event site before the minor will be allowed to enter the restricted area.

During Formula Kart Productions events it is mandatory that the legal guardian of any minor attending the event without their parent must be in possession of a notarized legal document granting legal guardianship over the specific minor, and that legal guardian must be present with said document to complete the “Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement” at the event site before the specified minor will be allowed to enter the restricted area. Note that this pertains not just to minor drivers, but to any minor attending the event who needs to enter restricted areas.

There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to these minor procedures. The minor participants WILL NOT enter the restricted areas without the appropriate legal signatures.

FWT ROOKIE PARTICIPANTS

The FWT is not a beginner-level racing event. Formula Kart Productions reserves the right to restrict participation. Drivers in the Rotax Micro Max, Rotax Mini Max and Formula TaG Cadet classes who have never raced at the Florida Winter Tour will be required to complete the FWT Rookie Form before they will be allowed to participate. It is important to note that the registration will not be confirmed until Formula Kart has received this form. It is important to note that acceptance of the form and the registration request does not guarantee participation. Formula Kart reserves the right to restrict participation based on driver’s performance.

EVENT REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT OF ITEMS PURCHASED ON THE FWT WEB SITE

• Credit Card owner is aware that these FWT events will take place in the future, based on the schedule posted on this web site.
• Credit Card owner is aware they will be charged immediately for the total listed in the total field of the shopping cart.
• Refunds will be granted at the sole-discretion of Formula Kart Productions, Inc.
• No refunds will be granted within 7 days of the event-weekend.
• Refunds must be requested by the card owner, in writing, to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Unless waived in writing by FKP, all refunds* will be charged a $50 admin fee for each event-weekend. Example: If the card owner initially purchased three event-weekends and is withdrawing from all three event-weekends the card owner will be charged a $150 admin fee for withdrawal. If the card owner is withdrawing from one event-weekend the card owner will be charged a $50 admin fee for withdrawal. The admin fee will be deducted from the amount of the requested refund.

Acceptance of credit transaction by the credit card processor does not guarantee entry or participation. In addition to your credit transaction confirmation Formula Kart Productions, Inc (FKP) will confirm acceptance of the drivers registration via email to the email address listed on the registration form. After entry is confirmed by FKP, FKP reserves the right to restrict participation based on driver’s performance.

Registration requires minimum purchase of official event consumables, including dry race tires and oil.

All items purchased during the registration process will be available at the event-site no later than the Friday before the event weekend.
