Ferrari Driving Experience and Formula Kart Productions begin a scholarship search to send one ambitious kart racer to six 2010 FWT race days, and one lucky Rotax Masters competitor will once again drive Ferrari's at Mont Tremblant

Formula Kart Productions, exclusive owner and promoter of the Florida Winter Tour, is pleased to announce the continuation and an expansion of its unprecedented Ferrari awards program for the 2010 Florida Winter Tour. The FWT will once again partner with Ferrari Driving Experience, but this year will provide a scholarship for one ambitious FWT competitor to participate in six race-days of the 2010 FWT and a complimentary Ferrari Driving Experience program seat at the exclusive driving school based in Mont-Tremblant, Canada.

The Ferrari Driving Experience / Florida Winter Tour Scholarship Search is open to any FWT Rotax or Formula Kart driver 12 years and older competing in a Junior level class* or higher. The search begins immediately and ends December 23^rd. Scholarship candidates will be judged based on their racing resume and a 300 word essay explaining why they should receive the scholarship and how it would affect their racing program. The scholarship recipient will be awarded entry, pit pass, one set of tires, and oil for six rounds of the 2010 FWT, and a custom Ferrari Driving Experience graphics package for their kart. Ferrari will contribute one complimentary Ferrari Driving Experience program (Basic level) to a 2010 FWT Rotax Masters competitor who competes in all six 2010 FWT Rotax race-days - name selected by random among competitors at the final round who satisfy the “prize” requirements. The winner is entitled to register for and participate in a 2010 program. The winner is required to pay for transportation to and from the Hotel Quintessence in Mont Tremblant. All other program and transportation shuttle fees are covered.

The Ferrari Driving Experience is an exclusive two-day precision driving school that allows students to experience the performance of a Ferrari in the controlled environment of a race track. The premise of the program is to increase comfort and confidence behind the wheel of a Ferrari. Students drive the new Ferrari 458 Italia, 430 Scuderia, and the 599 GTB Fiorano on the panoramic and challenging Circuit Mont-Tremblant, a former Formula One venue.
