It's now official! FWT is going to Orlando Kart Center for the January rounds of the 2010 FWT.

The OKC facility is in the process of a major upgrade that will include the installation of poured concrete curbing and state-of-the-art barrier systems. The facility is currently functioning and the FWT “layout” is available for testing. The facility offers many features missing from some of our venues, including “real” bathrooms with running water, a state-of-the-art PA system, a "Jumbo Tron" display for broacasting FWT Live! during the FWT events, grandstand seating for hundreds, track lighting in case the schedule gets stretched, an air conditioned/lighted tech building with covered scale area, an on-site Pro Shop, and secure on-site storage and parking with an on-site tenant. Major improvements scheduled to be completed in the next few weeks include the curbing and barriers, an on-site restaurant, and additional permanent storage. 

Of course one of the nicest features of the venue is that it’s in a world-class vacation destination. The track is 20 minutes from Orlando International airport and Disney World, and a short drive from literally hundreds of lodging, dining and entertainment options.
