Formula Kart Productions, exclusive owner and promoter of the Florida Winter Tour, announces a new level of Rotax excitement, the FWT Pro Rotax class. Scheduled to run during the Formula Kart event-weekends, this “Battle of the Ages” category will offer the worlds best Rotax drivers 6 chances to pocket their portion of a guaranteed minimum $20,000 cash purse.

In addition, eligible class participants will be vying for their shot at a Skip Barber Racing School award consisting of a SBRS three-day car racing school and paid, guaranteed entry into the Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shootout where they will have a shot at over $130,000 in Skip Barber car racing scholarships. And if that’s not enough On Track Promotions is providing $1,940 in OTP Multi Media driver marketing tools. The combined minimum cash value of these awards is currently $27,940 for this one class, and expected to increase.

This program is open to any RMC spec Rotax Senior engine, and will allow participation by any qualified driver, from any country, of any license level, who meets the FWT minimum 15 year age requirement by December 31, 2010. The class will be capped at 64 entries, with the top 34 getting their shot at some serious money and the Skip Barber award.

Tires are MG FZ

FWT driver age 15 years and up. Driver must be 15 before January 1, 2011.
