FWT Champions to Rotax Worlds

Formula Kart Productions, Inc, promoter of the FWT, and Canadian Rotax Distributor SRA Karting, working together with BRP/Rotax, will provide funded* rides to the 2010 Rotax “Worlds”, the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF), to the Points Champions of the 2010 FWT Rotax DD2, Rotax Senior and Rotax Junior classes.

FWT IRMC Champion’s in those three classes will be awarded air fare* and hotel accommodations for the driver, chassis rental, engine rental, race tires, trolley rental, lead rental, fuel and oil, and two tickets to the official Welcome party and Prize Giving ceremonies at the 2010 RMCGF.

The Skip Barber Racing School announces the continuation of its awards partnership with Formula Kart Productions, Inc. for the 2010 Formula Kart Racing Florida Winter Tour. The partnership, begun in 2002, promotes the link between Formula Kart Racing and open-wheel car racing via the Skip Barber Racing School and the Skip Barber Race Series ladder system.

One FWT Rotax competitor will be chosen "at-large" by a panel of judges and will be awarded a Skip Barber Three Day Racing School and a paid, guaranteed entry into the Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shoot-out. This Skip Barber prize* is valued at over $6,000 (school + shoot-out entry).

The Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shoot-out awards more than $130,000 in scholarship seat time, including the grand prize of nearly $53,000 to compete in the 2010 BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National Presented by Mazda.

*To be eligible for the FWT/Skip Barber awards program, participants must pre-register for and compete in all 6 Rotax race-days, and must display Skip Barber decals prominently on the front and both sides of their racing karts. Each must also display the Skip Barber patch on the breast of their driving suit during podium presentations, and must meet the specific eligibility requirements for the 2009/2010 Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shootout.

Daily Rotax class winners in every FWT class will recieve a $250 voucher to use toward the purchase of an OTP web site.

Rotax drivers who finish second in each days races will recieve a $50 voucher to use toward the purchase of an OTP Driver Banner.

All Rotax Class Points Champions will recieve a 6ft x 1.5ft OTP Champions Banner valued at $140.
